Validation Trial

The Salhy hydration test has undergone independent validation with researchers at the University of Newcastle.

The study evaluated Salhy against established hydration research protocols to assess its ability to track changes in hydration status under controlled dehydration and rehydration conditions.

Findings demonstrated statistically significant alignment with hydration change, supporting its use as a practical hydration monitoring tool in field environments.

When should I use the Salhy test?

Occasions that you could benefit from using the Salhy personal hydration test:

Baseline Testing

Establish a baseline when you are optimally hydrated (called eu-hydrated). Compare any future tests to your baseline. For more about baseline testing click here.

Pre workout

Great for checking hydration before starting an intensive workout or prior to a work shift

During activity

Test during a work shift break or half-time at a sports game. Gauge how well your fluid / electrolyte strategies are performing.

Recovery
